What Is the Subdomain Field During Onboarding?

The subdomain field appears during account setup and asks you to choose a name that will form part of the URL your entrants visit to access your contests.

What to enter

You can type anything you like: your brand name, your username, your business name, or something that fits your audience. Keep it short and easy to remember, since it becomes part of a public link.

Once you've entered it, your contest URL will look like this:

yoursubdomain.blitzrock.et

So if you type coolbrand, your link becomes coolbrand.blitzrock.et.

Can you change it later?

After your account is created, you can connect a custom domain or subdomain if you already own one. That means the default .blitzrock.et URL isn't permanent; it's just your starting point.

What if you don't have a custom domain?

No problem. The default subdomain on blitzrock.et works fine for running contests. You only need a custom domain if you want the link to match your own website address.
