Entering a Competition with an Australian Phone Number

If you are based in Australia and are having trouble entering a competition because your phone number is not being accepted, this article explains what to expect and how to format your number correctly.

Known Issue

We previously identified a bug where Australian phone numbers were not being accepted on competition entry forms. This issue has since been resolved. Australian phone numbers should now work correctly when entering competitions through Blitz Rocket.

How to Format Your Australian Phone Number

If you are still experiencing trouble, please make sure your phone number is entered in the correct format. Try the following:

• Include the country code: Use +61 at the start of your number (e.g. +61 4XX XXX XXX).
• Remove the leading zero: When using the +61 country code, drop the leading 0 from your mobile number (e.g. use +61 412 345 678 instead of 0412 345 678).
• Remove spaces or special characters if the field does not accept them.
